Home / Contractor back office

For contractors

Back office services for contractors in Sarasota & Manatee County.

Leads answered while you're on a job. Estimates out the same day. Invoices followed up until they're paid. We run the office side of your business so you can stay in the field.

Sound familiar?

The job is done. The office isn't.

Missed calls during installs. Estimates written at 10 PM. A deposit nobody followed up on. A homeowner waiting three days for an answer and calling someone else.

That gap between a lead and a paid invoice is where small contractors lose the most money. It's also exactly where we work.

Built for

  • Flooring installers
  • Countertop fabricators
  • Cabinet companies
  • Painters
  • Paver & hardscape crews
  • Remodelers
  • Cleaning companies

L3 provides administrative support only. Your company remains the contractor of record and is responsible for licensing, permits and the work performed.

Starting out?

Business setup & filings.

We set up the company, then we run the office. We prepare and file your Florida business paperwork on Sunbiz and with the IRS, and keep your company in good standing every year.

$100 per filing, plus the state fee at cost. No markup on government fees.

We prepare and file documents with the information you provide. We do not give legal or tax advice, such as which entity type or tax election is right for you. For that, talk to an attorney or your CPA.

Signing

Contracts & permits

Contracts and change orders on your templates, permit paperwork, owner's affidavits, Notice of Commencement and HOA applications, notarized in-house when needed.

Questions

What contractors ask first.

Will my clients know you are a separate company?

We work under your business name, with your email signature, your templates and a business line dedicated to your company. Your clients deal with your company from first call to final invoice.

Do you set the prices?

No. We build estimates from the price list you give us, marked subject to field measure. Anything outside the list comes to you before it goes to the client.

What software do you use?

Whatever you already use, such as QuickBooks, Jobber, Houzz Pro or Google Workspace. If you don't have a system yet, we set up a simple one with you.

Do you work with contractors who don't speak much English?

Yes. Many of our contractors prefer Portuguese. We talk with you in Portuguese and with your clients in English.

How is pricing structured?

A monthly plan based on the number of jobs you run, with an optional per-job fee for closed projects. We quote after the 15-minute call, once we know your volume.
